This year, the event will highlight a wheelchair basketball game between Sportable’s Wheelchair Basketball Team (who are nationally ranked) versus VCU Men’s Basketball Team in wheelchairs. The men’s basketball team and other VCU student athletes will also be in attendance. The basketball game, will be set up similar to a VCU men’s basketball home game with the lights, music, and intro video – but dedicated to sportable’s team. There will be various stations of the sports they offer through their program – such as goal ball, wheelchair basketball, power soccer, sitting volleyball, powerlifting, lacrosse, tennis, and cycling.
There will be a raffle with prizes and a free t-shirt giveaway to the first 110 attendees. For directions and more information visit https://www.sportable.org/upcoming-events/vcu-paralympic-experience-day-3/.
Hallsley is proud to be a sponsor of this event.
