Southern Living Style Grand Opening Weekend Is October 21 & 22
Enjoy a Southern Living Festival on the grand opening weekend for the Street of Hope in Hallsley, Saturday and Sunday, October 21 and 22, from 11 am to 6 pm. Come and experience life Southern Living style and be some of the first to tour these charming home plans. See designer-chosen interior selections showcasing the latest in new home trends and fashion. Pottery Barn and the Midlothian Garden Club will be showcasing ideas for holiday table settings and centerpieces under the Big Tent. Participating builders are featuring furnishings from Green Front in the homes – which is available for sale online at discounted prices.
DINE WITH US. Come for lunch and dine under the Big Tent featuring southern dishes from Café Caturra. Some of RVAs most popular food trucks will also have food for sale. Learn how to create holiday table settings, make fall wreaths, and centerpieces. Wine and beer will be available for sale and live music will be featured on the Big Tent stage.
SHOP WITH US. In addition to making furniture purchases, there will be other shopping experiences at the Street of Hope. Gather will have a boutique in the Biringer Builders garage with vintage pieces, local art, and accessories for your home. Clothing and jewelry shops will also be open.
ENTER TO WIN A FORD F-150 TRUCK LEASE. Raffle tickets to win a 2-year lease on a Ford F-150 truck donated by Sheehy Ford of Richmond are being sold with proceeds going to the charities. ALL FOR A GOOD CAUSE: Proceeds raised from the Southern Living Inspired Street of Hope will fund cancer research grants at VCU Massey Cancer Center and fund a scholarship endowment at the VCU School of Business for underprivileged Richmond area youths. The proceeds will come from a combination of ticket sales, sponsorships, special events, and two Homes of Hope.
