Grand Opening Weekend Southern Living Style!
A Southern Living Festival will be the theme of the Street of Hope grand opening weekend Saturday and Sunday, October 21 & 22. Come and experience life Southern Living style and be some of the first to tour these charming home plans. Pottery Barn will be showcasing ideas for holiday table settings and centerpieces under the Big Tent both Saturday and Sunday. The Midlothian Garden Club will showcase floral designs for holiday wreaths and flower arrangements on Sunday. Cafe Caturra will have lunch available for sale under the tent and some of Richmond’s finest gourment food trucks – Curbside Creations and Jadeans Smokin’ Six O BBQ on Saturday; Curbside Creations,and Goatocado on Sunday – will have your southern favorite foods for sale. Wine and beer will also be sold. The acoustic duo No Charge will be playing for your entertainment both Saturday and Sunday.
While you’re touring the homes, check out our boutique shops throughout the Street of Hope. Home accessories, clothing, and jewelry will be for sale. Plus, if you find a piece of furniture you like, it may be available for sale.
Partnership proceeds raised from the Southern Living Inspired Street of Hope will fund cancer research grants at VCU Massey Cancer Center and fund a scholarship endowment at the VCU School of Business for underprivileged Richmond area youths. The proceeds will come from a combination of ticket sales, sponsorships, special events, and two Homes of Hope.
ADMISSION:
