Thank You From The Street of Hope
12,000 visitors came to tour the Southern Living Inspired Community Street of Hope in Hallsley. This 16-day event featured eight designer Southern Living inspired furnished dream homes and was open to the public from October 21 through November 5, 2017. These homes showcased the latest in interior decorating ideas, trends, and innovations in new home design.
In addition to the latest interior design trends in furniture, window treatments, and paint colors, the Street of Hope showcased hundreds of great new interior design ideas for the home – from the newest counter top selections to the hottest designer flooring. Some of the features included reclaimed wood counter tops, floors, ceiling beams, and walls. Multiple porches and outdoor entertaining areas were also featured – some with fireplaces, retractable screens and walls, and double stacked wrap around porches.
Themed weekends, Concerts of Hope, a raffle, live auction, restaurant tastings, and a Preview Gala added to the appeal of the event. The funds raised from ticket sales, sponsors, a raffle, live auction, a Charity House and more benefited both VCU Massey Cancer Center and the VCU School of Business. Several of these showcase homes are available for sale. If you would like to learn more about the Street of Hope homes, contact us or visit our HOMES FOR SALE.
